Youth Global Climate Observatory
Youth-Led Climate Action, Rooted in Data, Powered by Storytelling & Action
At MapWorks Learning, we believe the future belongs to young people – and that future is already being shaped by their voices, their vision, and their urgency. Youth are not waiting for change; they are building it.
In response to the growing need for youth-led global action, we’re launching our boldest initiative yet: the Youth Global Climate Observatory. This cross-border virtual exchange will serve as a collaborative platform where students use science, data, and storytelling to document climate impacts, share community narratives, and co-create solutions that matter – locally and globally.
Designed in partnership with educators, researchers, and youth leaders, the Observatory will engage classrooms in a model of participatory climate inquiry: gathering data, sharing insights, and amplifying youth-driven action. It’s a framework for developing 21st-century skills – from digital fluency to civic engagement—while strengthening global solidarity around one of the most urgent challenges of our time.
This is more than a program – it’s a generational movement toward regeneration, equity, and care. We’re building it with the energy, creativity, and leadership of youth at its core.
